The Unexpected

As the sight I remember, it were me and you,
seriousness on the faces, on day of July two,
you told me you have to go away,
who was I now for anything to say.
I saw you turning back and I counted your steps,
sound of your shoes took me to flashback.
Valentine day of last year I remember it was,
When I was on my knees before you after the class.

With heavy heart and misty eyes,
I lay down on bed to get some sleep,
but it was hard to me,
coz your feelings in my heart were deep.

I thought of going out to get some air,
with my swelling eyes and same disturbed hairs.
Everybody was busy in his own silly talk,
you didn’t see when I crossed your path.

Going back I saw people standing outside my room,
my friends had tears but I had no idea for whom,
I manage to go in and it got me surprised,
I was hanging on the fan with wide open eyes.

I realized why I did go un-noticed,
and I realized why I couldn’t feel better,
it was just a heart, a piece of me,
a piece that had been shattered..

A note for my Lover

From the day of my existence, to the night tonight,
you have always loved me, you have treated me right,
I did a lot of mistakes, I have hurt you a lot of times,
yet you forgave me for the worst of my crimes.

You raised me up to more than I can be,
you stand by my side always dearly,
your wishes are always for me and never for you,
and my every work is for you, I swear its true.

Whenever I was glad, you had a shining smile on your face,
whenever I was sad, I found you there to embrace,
you saw my first step and you saw me falling down,
you applauded for me and you never showed a frown.

Whatever I’m today, I am because of you,
from the bottom of my heart, I thank both of you,
